Across the Seas: Özer Kabaş and His Times at Salt Beyoğlu

The show looks at Kabaş as painter, designer, filmmaker, writer and teacher and at his place in the cultural history of Turkey. From the 1970s his paintings centred on the sea, labour and human relationships, with maritime workers at the middle of layered compositions. It also covers his short films, texts and jewellery designs made at the Urart Art Studio, which he co-founded.
