Flowing City at Istanbul Modern

The museum describes the show as an exploration of how artists have related to water through the lens of Istanbul, from the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn to freshwater and saltwater ecosystems.

It sets eighteenth to twentieth century paintings and historical photographs beside contemporary work, including commissions made through the museum's International Artist Residency Program. The curators are Nilay Dursun and Ümit Mesci.
